FOUNDER’S STORY
Bob Myers has long been a pioneer in disruptive thinking and personal computing. In 1985, he developed IBM's AT computer and Dupont's water cleanup and toxic spill prevention technologies. Later, he partnered with Apple Computers and Zimmer, setting industry standards in predictive operating room technology.
With a tech-first, disrupt-or-be-disrupted approach, Bob advised startups and Fortune 500 companies, reinventing car buying with Modus, creating the first smart-connected vehicle with OnStar, and designing autonomous tractors for John Deere. He also contributed to Honda and Acura's 2021 InCab technology.
Bob achieved three major tech exits, including Pillar Technology, sold to Accenture Industry X in 2018. Under his leadership, Pillar secured a $55 million contract with the State of Ohio and the National Department of Transportation to develop a Smart City Operating System, earning international recognition as innovators in Smart Connect technology.
Bob is pathologically optimistic that with proactive exploration and diligent research, AI & robotics will bring forth a bright future for all.
